Elevating your consciousness- What a spiritual guru could do

Ever thought that whenever you feel down or low in life, you reach out for someone close- a parent, sibling or a friend in most cases. And when you vent out your feelings to them somehow you feel lighter and liberated. Somehow the pain lessens. I was pondering about it quiet deeply and some answers came my way. I would really like to share what I discovered.

We are not only made of bone and flesh, that's only our physical aspect. On deeper levels we are energy!

When we interact with someone who is in higher conscious state than ours, then a significant process is happening in the energy realms. We are slowly rising higher and thus feel liberated from the pain and suffering we felt earlier- before the onset of the interaction.

Seemingly at that point of time, we are at our lower energy states and our brain is quiet expert that it chooses the right person to talk to as per the destination energy requirements!

Unconsciously, yet we do this. If energy levels were to be put on a scale to 1-10 ( 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest), then if we feel like a 4 sometimes, we will go and talk to >5 in order to feel good again.

But some people have gone a step ahead . They have evolved themselves by mitigating the need to have inter-dependence on fellow human beings. They harness the energy by meditating where they interact not with a 5-6 but with the universe or the supreme consciousness which is indeed a +10. So this is why meditation feels so awesome.

And it is quiet difficult for average humans to reach and interact at such high levels due to our egos and bundle of other vices. They require a medium, a mediator in their meditation. This facilitator helps individuals to slowly transcend its consciousness and reach a point where there is no need of further outer support or stimulus. These medium are some elevated souls called Gurus who are spiritually evolved species whose consciousness is quiet high than the average mean population.

A spiritual guru can act as a catalyst and increase the pace of the process. This is quiet risky and spiritual gurus seldom go to such extremes. Why? Because A premature hatch yields weak offspring! They are wise enough not to do so. That is why a guru arrives in your life only when one is ready to seek his guidance.

It is not always necessary that a guru will have a physical form. He/she may bestow blessings via books written in past or exist in metaphysical realms guiding you through lucid dreaming.

Have you found a guru yet? If not that means you need to keep patience and become worthy of one.

Everybody wants to be elevated and one day we all will. But till then we need to train our senses and become ready to receive the grace of a spiritual guru!👼

Healing Hands - Power to give unconditionally

Its quiet amusing when life slowly unfolds itself . Just as a dormant seed blossoms to be a sapling and then a sturdy tree, life happens when we allow it. It's an omnipresent phenomenon.

The reason we see it rarely happening or happening with delays is because of our actions to suppress and do anything in our capabilities to  not let it happen. Although it is mostly unintentional yet this hampers our growth as a being.

The great French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin has rightly said-

"We are not human beings having spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience".

Why we hamper our growth if we are spiritual beings. Do we not long for the eternal peace and happiness? Why are we stuck in this vicious cycle of playing the victim card?

If I tell you there's a way to escape this rat race, would you believe me?

Let me tell you it is as easy as clicking ESC on the keyboard.

But before it works that way, you need to give yourself up completely in the process. You need to surrender to a cause greater than yourself.

I was hearing to an audio by Earl Nightingale who has very profoundly explained the laws of success in his record breaking radio voice over "The Strangest Secret".

I was bewitched by the man's service to the human kind which was not restricted to his country but expanded all over the globe. A service of such great value that is even serving the present generations. It is just continuously flowing as an elixir of success  even in this modern times.

So what's the strangest secret?  Please do watch the video in entirety and then come back here....

There is one more hidden secret that I happened to read between the lines.

When being of service to the masses one must think about others beforehand. One must not restrict some new found knowledge or idea to oneself. Restricting ideas makes you a mean one, overpowered by the veil of high ego states.

Do you think Earl Nightingale would have been so famous and showered with abundance if he would have kept this knowledge/insight locked inside his own head?

I think the opposite would have happened. Once envy. jealousy, malice and pride would have taken over his consciousness, he would have doomed!

But he rose triumphant breaking every barrier created ever by the sinful thoughts. And thus contributed so profoundly to the human race. He made an imprint so deep that it will last for centuries and keep motivating and guiding human kind to its higher potentials.

So be a giver. Yeah! You heard it right. Be an unconditional giver and abundance will flow in. Abundance not only in terms of money but abundance in totality. The hands of an unconditional giver becomes healing hands and as sacred as a god idol....

Takeaways

Donate something of value to a stranger  OR

Open door for an elderly OR

Give someone your seat without them asking OR

Give a hand to your mother in household chores OR

Smile to strangers OR

Feed strays and street animals ..the list never ends...

Be creative and keep experimenting. Do comment and tell me what are your methods of being an unconditional giver....😇😇😇😇😇😇

Love that never withers

"Pushpa..Pushpa, screamed Mrs Bharadwaj on seeing her vase filled with dead roses again. It was third time in a row now. "How many times I had to tell her that withered flowers are no good, sighed Mrs Bharadwaj fixing her bifocal spectacles right above her pointed nose. Her skin had began showing evidence of gradual aging as several wrinkles appeared on sides of eyes and lips when she frowned.  She raised her head slowly and summoned her maid to get rid of these ugly roses.
It was very unlikely of Mrs Bharadwaj to throw such tantrums. Pushpa knew something was bothering her. So without an ounce of protest she nodded and did as she say. She had been with the old lady for decades, so knew her in and out.
Mrs Bharadwaj began looking outside the window. She was quiet relieved that she had a view like that to cheer her up when she lost her ways. The sight of the still lake calmed her and she went into meditating states.

Her phone began to ring after an hour of meditation passed by. And she came back from her meditative states to reality. It was her only son Ravish calling.  He had been avoiding her for past few weeks.Whenever she brought the question of his homecoming this Diwali, he seemed to completely ignore and change the topic. And for past two weeks avoiding to have a talk with her.
This bothered her a lot and she kept calling him now and then. He would simply cut the call feigning to be working and busy.

She somehow understood all the lies her son told. No different from his childhood fake stories ,she would think.

With few minutes of trying to act cool and pretending composure, she finally gave in to her bottling emotions and answered the phone with a frail voice.

"Kya Maa, aap bhi. How many times have I told you not to call again and again when I don't answer the phone the first time. Main clients ke sath hota hun. It's quiet disturbing maa", his first salutations to her mother after two weeks of conscious ignorance.

And before she could say anything. He barged in and began again " And hum nahi aa paenge this Diwali. Mere promotion ko celebrate karne ke liye party throw kar rahe hain office wale. Anuradha, muje aur bacho ko attend karna zaruri hai".

Mrs Bharadwaj had no idea about his promotion. She felt like an outsider. She did not exist as a family member in his son's story. She was shattered.

But maa,maa hoti hai. She blessed her son for his endeavours and asked him to eat well.
The humiliation did not end here. Ravish had more arrows in his bow to launch at her.

"I would have called you here but sab itna jaldi jaldi me hua ki ab last moment flights ke price have sky rocketed. And waise bhi aap itna travel kya karoge, thak jaoge . Aapki age ho gai hai aap aaram karo. I will send you videos and photos later, he said in a guiltless tone.

Tears were flowing down through Mrs Bharadwaj' s eyes. All her efforts of not letting her turn emotional turned futile.

She went to fetch some water from the kitchen. Not to quench her thirst but to slide the pain down her throat.

She leaped towards the sink to put the empty tumbler and she saw withered red roses dumped in the dustbin near the sink.

She reached an epiphany. She felt pity for those disposed withered roses. On many levels she was like those withered dumped flowers. The resonance between the two life conditions were uncanny. They both were thrown away without an ounce of consideration just because they were old and frail."We people have such a shallow understanding of beauty", she muttered to herself. She wasn't saint herself. And she knew that.

But she was not a person to just give up without giving a good fight. She picked herself up and wiped her tears. She called Pushpa in a soft gentle tone. She instructed her to bring all the withered, old and fallen flowers from the lake side.
Pushpa had no idea what has gone into her madam today. Two contrasting instructions in a single day was confusing her like anything. But still she understood that madam was in a better state of mind this time than the previous encounter.

Few hours later she was back with bags full of fallen leaves and flowers. Mrs Bharadwaj asked her to do one more for today and call it a day. She asked Pushpa to fetch her canvas and stationary from the basement.

Soon Mrs Bharadwaj was cleaning the thick layers of dust from her equipments and started designing on the canvas by spreading and sticking the wilted flowers around it. In a fraction of seconds the painting came to life and the image of lord Ganesha emerged triumphant from the zig-zag arrangement of flowers.

In morning when Pushpa visited the house, she was enchanted with the beauty of the picturesque and jumped with joy just by catching glimpse of it. She was Mrs Bharadwaj's first customer. And it did not end there. Mrs Bharadwaj's painting streak ended with not one two or three paintings but she made sure everyone in the town had one.

It was time for her redemption now. She crafted a painting for her son now. She carefully sent it to his Mumbai's address.
Ravish was leaving for office when the parcel came by. He was puzzled as he did not order anything as far as he remembered. He asked about the parcel in the family but no body had a hint. He decided to open the parcel in the porch itself. He discovered it was a canvass with two figurines- a mother handfeeding her son food. Along with it came a note that said " Beta khana time pe khana".

The fragrance of the wilted yet ever smelling good- shiuli flowers sent him back to his childhood days. His mother used to put them in her gajra everyday. He rushed inside his house and began crying. He picked up the phone, dialled his mother's number and said sobbingly " Khila na maa apne hath se".

She smiled from the other end of the phone and said "Beta darwaza to khol, main kabse bahar khadi hun".

He thought she was joking. He hadn't sent her any flight tickets yet. But Mrs Bharadwaj was now a self-reliant mother and she managed the tickets on her own this time.

The door bell rang and there she was. His eyes were watery and he hugged her like a baby as he always have been for her.

Overtaking the Power in your own Hands

We all have this huge urge to compete with people around us. I guess it's the basic instinct we are born with because when we were cave men we lived by "Survival of the fittest". But that's history. Isn't it? We should have come past this now as ages have passed down the streets Alas! here we are facing the present advanced ages still as cave men but only difference is of being dressed in suits. Just as a small example of this, when we see someone ahead of us while driving, our first reaction is to overtake. Even though our speedometers are way above the allowed limits, we still pace to match up and eventually try to surpass the one riding in front of us. And as you know as per laws of motion in order to overtake you need to have more speed than the other one. And amid all this chaos, we forget a very crucial parameter of speed and that is none other but "Time". We nullify the significance of time by not respecting the fact that the person who is riding in front of us may have started the journey earlier than us. We totally ignore that even though we are running the same race, the racetracks may not be the same. Even the starting points may differ for some or competing categories may differ.
The question is why we are so restless if somebody is ahead of us? Why we are ready to stake our life for that matter? Speeding may cause accidents which then reverses us back by many yards in the journey and serious ones could press the pause/stop button for once and for all.

The answer is simple yet untappable with an overtaking attitude. Our eyes are more often fixated outwards so one tends to look, watch what is happening in the outside world and more precisely it is fixated on what others are doing! We look for details, we pass judgements, we criticize - not ourselves but others. Only if we diverted our attention to the inner apparatus that is responsible for vision. And science has made us aware that it’s the brain which is responsible for our vision. Eyes are just the means of doing it. So, when we fix our focus inwards- on our brain and its functional unit called mind, only then we are truly living as an advanced human being. Because now the focus is inwards and now the eyes must look for details, correct, criticize, advise the real source of inception. We need to admit why we are lagging in the first place instead of foolishly pacing up. We need to respect the time factor. We need to give due acknowledgement to our so-called competitors who have been guiding us throughout the path as we can readily learn from their mistakes and pitfalls. We need to have an attitude of gratitude for them for being our companions in this long and at times tiring journey. Only when we move in life with such an attitude our existence is justified, otherwise it’s just a series of events driven by sole physiological desires. We all desire much more than that from life. So, don’t delay your evolutionary process anymore and take the first step by being conscious about these fine faults in us. This journey from the gross to fineness is our true journey and we must start now irrespective of what others are doing. No need to pace up or overtake, just enjoy the process and life will be a beautiful series of events rather than a coincidence. Make things happen and not wish for them to happen!

Whatever branches may grow?

A faulty seed planted with false perceptions can deeply root in even most civilized “civilizations”. This seed grows up to be a giant tree with diverse branches and these branches laden with false perceptions keeps on its life processes such as growing, withering and re growing. Is there any end to it? How can one diagnose the initial point of actual problem which is not in these succulent branches but in the roots? But why we always go for branches first? Why we assume that cutting down these branches is successful in bringing such trees down? See when we go for the branches, the problem can never be fully solved and we may be running a rat race on and on, never to reach a conclusion. So, it is quite necessary for us to know that problems should be tackled from roots. And this further complicates the whole scenario as when we finally find where the roots are, uprooting a full grown tree is not an easy task as uprooting it means taking away a valuable part of the ground it once grew on, leaving a huge void behind which needs to be filled very wisely with fresh just perceptions. Do we have a repertoire of such new live perceptions? Or we just going to fill the holes hastily, without much thought process? Inadequate thought processing is indeed the very thing that caused the generation of such faulty seeds in the first place, will again become manure for the others to come. Are we as civilized beings ready to give out best when asked for? Or we just going to vomit filth that has accumulated inside us with time due to hatred we have been storing for the trees all along? So when time comes to rebuilt, we may not actually rebuilt but only conceal.
It is rather good idea to shift our focus from such faulty seeds and spending our time in creating seeds with right perceptions and thus a mammoth forest that speaks for itself. Such a lively civilization shall force their counterparts to either rebel or reform. If reforms happen than it is an achievement on account of peace and if rebel do occur than we are very well -equipped and trained to defend when needed.

Bee and Butter

Once upon a time there was a very cute, little hardworking honeybee. She worked all day collecting honey. She was very sensitive and kind-hearted. Once while collecting nectar, she came across a beautiful butterfly, which was perching on a flower next to her. Honeybee did not pay any attention to the butterfly and was busy doing her work. The butterfly has never seen such a cute little honeybee in her life and she decided to befriend her. And soon, they became best of friends.  Now they would go for nectar collection together and spend whole day with each other. They both liked each other’s company a lot and wondered why they didn’t come across each other before. The butterfly had a wrecked home and she found peace when she used to be with the bee. The bee was her partner in thick and thin, a good listener who would turn all her tears into smiles. With time, they made new friends. The butterfly really had a poor judgement, and this was the very thing that bugged the little bee the most. In the course of time the butterfly had befriended some spoiled drones and wasps. Bee never approved of them. She kept telling butter about their reality but she never listened and rebuked bee to let her take care of her own life.  The bee got so much involved that she ignored all her responsibilities and stopped all the hard work she was so proud of. Butter knew this and was really worried inside; as bee was indeed her sweetheart and she couldn’t just let her spoil her life because of her. But before she could do anything, god’s plan came into play. A fire broke out in bee’s home, destroying everything and all she was left was a wrecked home, siblings and a sick mother. All this happened so quickly, she didn’t get a chance to pick herself up.  Now, butter was more concerned and she took a decision that changed both of their lives. She left without saying anything.  The bee tried to inquire about her but all in vain. She had no idea and for a while thought how butter can leave her when she was in utmost need of her. Gradually, she realised it was the best thing to do. The bee had to start all over again. She worked day and night, built her home all over again, more beautiful than it was before. But every second she would think about butter. Months passed by and it was a year now. One thing that bee now realized that it is only you and you who can help yourself and becoming dependent on other’s for the sake of sympathizing yourself is not what she was meant for.  She understood that she needs to respect people’s individuality and with a personality so free as butter, it was never a good idea to put her into chains. It wasn’t a coincidence she met butter on that flower that day.  They were destined to meet as they came as important lessons of their life. Butter on the hand, was doing very fine with her life. She achieved what all she dreamt of but still she hasn’t found the happiness she thought she might get after achieving all she yearned for. She also understood why bee was so protective of her because the drones and wasps had shown their true colours once and for all. Yeah she missed bee a lot. One day she returned back to her old place after a year passed by. She went to the same flower where she had met bee. A tear came from her eye. She wanted to see her. But how could she appear in front of her just like that. They had so much of memories together and when she was there all the memories echoed in our mind. She kept sitting on the flower reminiscing all the happy moments. At dusk, bee came to place. She used to come there every evening just to have a piece on mind. On seeing butter there for once she lost her sanity. She was on cloud 9. Butter expected bee to be angry and even stinging angry. But what she saw different. Bee hugged her really hard, held her tightly just a mother holds her child to never let it go. No questions were asked, just exchange of “I know” smiles.
“It is really beautiful to have somebody who can read through your eyes. The person who will understand even your silence. “

Maa

We women are very conscious about our age and despise everyone who even dare to categorise us as aged and old. And a single word which is famous for making women go nuts is Aunty. We hate this word. This word drops us from the zenith of youth to nadir of senescence. There are many other words which are used for making us feel old but no this word tops the list and hated by every women. I despise this too. I find it rather offensive and especially when anyone older than me calls me by this word. I never realised I was so similar to all the women scout out there,my bad  :D But recently I came across a very different perspective, a different thought related to this matter. An incident although very small yet left an everlasting imprint on my mind that inspired me to scribble this on my blog. It was a day like any other ordinary days in bank. And a lady quiet older than me approached me for services and she mistakenly called me Mummy instead of Ma'am. You see it was a very small incident but what strucked me so hard is that why I didn't feel offended at all, like I used to get after hearing the aunty word? A mother is also a person of older age than I was right now and the funny thing is that I'm not even married to be called one just in case. I wasn't offended and in fact responded very politely and lovingly as if I was her mother!! Such is the power of this word. That day I felt the gravity this word holds in itself. I felt all the love, care and sacrifices a mother does for her child and family. I salute to all the mothers around the world in this festive month of navaratra. Thanks for loving and caring for us for all lifelong. We never even realise we are so gifted until something struck us like it strucked me. I feel immense gratitude for the love I received, the love and care I don't ever think I'm  worthy of getting and still doubtful that if ever in my life I could reciprocate the love I received from mother....!!! And amid all this I even forget the grudge I held as a woman for being called out Aunties. If I'm an Aunty for some in present or future I will surely be a mother to someone and that totally balances out the odds, right.. ;)

A World Full of Phobias

It really made me think hard when I was searching for phobias on internet. And what I found was a never ending gigantic list that left me astonished. So many fear words!! Humans are so full of it. Never ever heard its counterpart "Courage" being used as a prefix,so exclusively. The only prefix I could recollect is from the cartoon series "Courage -The Cowardly Dog".:P (The dog was opposite of its name)
Human beings today, are majorly driven by the phobic forces. Some of them stemming from physical harm and some emotional ones are dictating the logical mind of this supreme species. How can someone expect the deeds that are the consequences of the fearful actions to be "flawless"???? I don't feel so. When fear takes over our reasoning, the line between right and wrong is often blurred. So it makes sense, why not all of our actions are justifiable. But there could be no human life without emotions and the pool of emotions is stacked with selections from both sides of the shelves. So,negative ones are there too but what matters is we have to allocate certain fixed space to each of them in order to live in harmony, with the negative ones being cornered and occupying minimum space. But as it is apparent most of us tend to accommodate the ones from the negative side in excess, prioritize them by default and thus giving them the power to rule our lives. Why we do so? What we are so afraid of? If only we could get past these fear-negatives,life would have been so simpler and so fun.But its not the end of the world. We can always find a way and can always command this ginnie back to its lamp.Just as in the imaginative world, a ginnie comes out of its arena when the magic lamp is rubbed/summoned,in same way we must summon and embrace our positive self first, no matter how hard it may seem. And believe me once it comes into habit it will be done in a flash. Good habits are hard to inculcate but they transform lives tremendously. If one is able to extinguish his fears, face them and not run away or conceal them, then he can conquer anything, everything becomes surmountable.

It all comes down to a Name

Image result for name
A girl was endowed upon a religious Hindu family and they gave her a name reflecting their religious sentiments and devotion which came out in a form which spells their sacred book-"Gita".

Once the little girl was asked  the meaning of her name in her school. She had no clue and she turned to her mother for the answer. Her mother at first ignored the curiosity of the little girl. But on finding out that the school wanted the child to write a paragraph on the meaning of her name, the mother told her that it is their holy book after which they have named her. But, children are so inquisitive. They explore, they question every single event they found amusing. And Geeta now had grown immense curiosity for the red cloth wrapped book which her mother pointed towards while answering. Geeta kept eyeing the book for hours as if the book will herself pour out the answers she wanted. In evening hours, she sat with her mother in the puja ghar and she saw her mother worshiping the book with the incense sticks. Her mother never actually read it. Geeta wanted to hear the words of the book,so she asked her mother to read out the lines as she used to do for her during bed time stories.
Her mother refused which made the child to do her stubborn acts. This infuriated the mother and she admonished the little curious Geeta that the book was meant for grown ups and that Geeta was not ready to understand what it means and when she grows old she could read it on her own.
The words of her mother made Geeta to think hard. Harder than a nine year old kid can ever think.
Maybe the wisdom was the result of the  name she acquired.Few days later her summer holidays started and she cornered her curiosity for while until one day her uncle came to their house. Geeta was his uncle's sweetheart. He doted her and Geeta would spend hours in his company asking all types of queries she ever had.His uncle would travel all around India and bring back some special memory of the place and would present it to his niece and paint her mind with the stories of the places he used to wander. Geeta used to store all those presents in her closet and paste a memory in a scrapbook she had maintained since she was five years old. In fact this place was her all time favourite and she could sit there gazing for hours after hours. This time her uncle had wandered along the sacred streets of Banaras and this time he came up with a unique gift for her niece. He asked Geeta to close her eyes and he unveiled the gift in-front of her. It was a children edition of the holy book Gita. On seeing the book her jaw nearly dropped and she could not believe that finally her curiosity could be quenched somehow. Geeta was also a little hesitant to go forward and grab the book by her own because of all the scolding her mother gave her due to the book. His uncle asked her about the matter. Geeta in her own innocent ways asked his uncle that if the book was meant to be read in an old dying age. And before his uncle could answer her ,a relative from the neighborhood came rushing inside as if something very undesirable had happened. It was indeed an undesirable yet the most fated thing that was happening.A person was dying. An old man in his 70's was lying in his death bed encircled by his family members. An adult intellect of the village had advised to call a learned man with the knowledge of holy scriptures,Gita in particular,to utter some hymns in the ear of the dying man so that he could die in peace. That was the reason the man came rushing to look for Geeta's uncle. Her uncle did as desired and the old man was relieved from the earthly existence. They both returned to their home and now her uncle had the answer Geeta wanted to hear. And his uncle explained her the meaning of her name and the value the holy scripture holds. The next day she wrote the essay and presented it in the class. The very next day her parents received a call from the school principal. The principal wanted the parents to immediately visit the school. This left them quiet anxious as such a thing never happened before. Geeta's conduct was always by the rules and she never created any mess whatsoever. The anxious parents ran on their heels and reached the principal's office in no time. They even had a sorry speech ready for the occasion. When the Principal saw them by the door he stood up with a broad smile on his face. Geeta was also sitting in a chair nearby along with her class teacher and other staff members. Everybody kept quiet and only a gesture was made to make the parents look towards the notice board. Then they saw a piece of paper scribbled in their child's writing. And they began to read it.
"I was asked to write an essay about the meaning of my name. I am Geeta. My parents named me so because of the holy book of our religion. And I am indebted to them for doing so. Because they didn't only gave me a name consisting of mere alphabets but name of.the holy book that is the true way of leading a human life.Even though I'm just nine year old,I can still feel the gravity my word holds as each of them are heavily coalesced with the wisdom the book holds in itself. Yesterday I saw a dying  person for the first time. My eyes were watery for no apparent reason. My uncle recited the hymns from Gita to a dying man! As I already mentioned Gita is indeed a way of life. So doesn't it mean that it should be read as early in life  so to get the most out of it. Only a person who is alive needs a way in life, isn't it? Only when a person is facing dilemmas need an expert advice and not when his life has ended. So what are we waiting for? Waiting for to get old? Waiting for death to listen to the wisdom that the Gita holds? Are we that naive? Believe me I am not that intellectual that I get it all figured out on my own. My uncle is the real gem. As when he said to me Geeta if you were to get through a maths test and you already know how frightened the subject makes you, won't you start preparing for it a long before its gonna take place or would you wait for the last moment? And this simple question raised by him made it all crystal clear to me. I will read each and every line of the gift my uncle has left me this time and I shall prepare for my test well in advance. Are you still waiting or you're gonna start today!"

The parents teared up and they held their child, who has taught them a lesson of a lifetime.

I have

I have seen people in saffron clothes, committing heinous of crimes,
I have seen people in tattered clothes, doing humble of deeds..

I have heard people in harshest of tones, having clearest of hearts,
I have heard people in softest of tones, with darkest of souls..

I have seen people people quitting life for no reasons,
I have seen people living life for a sole and sole reason..

I have found worst of enemies in closest of people,
I have found best of friends in strangest of people..

I have met people with riches living an unfulfilled life,
I have met people with nothing but content life..

I have seen gloomiest of faces, spooned with silver wares,
I have seen people with happiest of faces with saddest of stories..

I have enjoyed public holidays of the widely sung heroes,
I have always wondered about the unsung crowd that followed..

I have been living life with a judgemental eye, often judged on wrong criteria,
I have found out eyes deceived, brain could ill-perceive, only the hearts could never lie...

Just a thought

Ever heard of this fable?I believe we all have. Let me see if you can relate it to present world scenario.

A crane was called for feast by a fox. The fox served the food on a plate and thus was able to eat hurriedly. The crane could not get to eat stomach full due to this serving arrangement and the fox after finishing his share, ate crane's share too!The fox then quickly closed off the feast and called it a day.
The  angels of the world called for globalization when concerns over not much cohesiveness and free trade were raised. Today, the feast is over and concerns have risen again. This time its about too much cohesiveness. The foxes have had their feast.Need I say more.Pretty strange world huh..!!
L.H.S.=R.H.S...bingo..!!! :D

Discovering Innate Happiness

Happiness is not as transient as an imprint on a sand that a wave comes and wash it away. But it is an innate inscription that have been deeply coalesced with our soul...:)

Why do we celebrate festivals? Do we really celebrate it for the mythological reasons? I think this is only partially true. Festivals have way more deeper value than one can think. Festivals have different meaning for different people. They bring "some" close to home creating cohesiveness and for some they are the days when they miss "home" the most. They give opportunities to families to come together eliminating all the minor-major barriers, provide them hope for a better future. They give the busy workaholics an excuse to take a sabbatical,an excuse to the figure-conscious people to be on a cheat diet for a while. For some festivals are a source of earning livelihoods, for some they are the avenues of superfluous expenditure.
In all, they give people a reason to celebrate,to be happy or at least force themselves to be happy amid the jovial environment. What we are really after? We create an ambience, a stage where we keep all the things that will or can give us satisfaction and will make us at peace and happy. But the truth is even with all the props at the stage why don't we feel happy to the core? Why our happiness feels so transient? Ever thought of that? I do..everyday. The transient nature of our happiness is derived from the root cause that we have based our happiness purely over materialistic gratification. And we experience ripples of short-lived happy  moments now and often but still our soul craves for that long-lasting happiness,no where to be found in all that glitters! Being happy is the innate nature of a soul which have eroded via lust and materialism and thus we are left with little of it,so little that we have only a hunch that something's missing but never really find out, what it is.And we surround ourselves with all the happy ingredients and try to get those ripples if not the absolute happiness that our soul yearns for. We settle for the ripples when there is complete possibility of us regaining our true innate nature! We think those heavy words like absolute happiness is not for the ordinary people like us but it is for the godly incarnations such as Shakyamuni Buddha. We never realize regaining our true happy nature is as simple as restoring phone's factory settings to default, in case we haven't tampered with the default password(default passwords are 12345,read the manual :P).
You get it right? What I'm trying to say is that don't tamper with your innate tendencies. Don't get engulfed in the materialism. I'm not implying that you wear the saffron clothes and become a saint but all I'm saying is create a balance out of  both worlds by mixing the best of both worlds.Only then one can be happy despite the happy props!!

The Introspection

Morning deep thoughts and conversations with oneself....:)
My solitude-my best friend,my never ending desires-my worst foe. My failures are the cornerstones of my success. Intense thrust upon me squeezed out the best out of me,symphony of love emanating from an abnormally pulsating heart, only having one question in my mind “Will I get through?” Someday somehow I know I’ll come up to my expectations, grow and reach beyond the skies,up high. There’s a long journey ahead,a route to love, happiness and success waiting for my imprints!!!!!!!!
Well it is always great to talk to oneself. It kind of fuels the inner desire and passion of not giving up and keep moving on. I know we all have some moments of self-doubt when doing some tasks but it is necessary to resolve them as quickly as possible. Because there is no scope of going forward when you doubt your abilities. Doubting is like a redirecting link,a hyperlink that takes you in the past and when you go to past, you are living backwards and that's not an appropriate action. So,a word of caution- Introspect yourself, motivate yourself and keep moving forward.

The Shallow teapot

Some tea time pondering..........:-)

The Shallow teapot
A potter gave life to a tea pot and put it to forge,
But the pot was reluctant to bear all the heat n scorch.
With no other way the potter made it look beautiful from the outside,
This shallowness of the teapot, only vibrant colors and glaze could really hide.
It was kept for sale at a relatively low price and was very quickly bought,
The buyer mesmerized with the beauty outside didn’t even give a second thought.
He noticed the shallowness from the very start but didn’t mind a bit,
He already had a place in mind where the pot would fit.
Placed on the highest spot on display, the teapot brimmed only with pride,
It looked down on others and soon there was none on its side.
Unlike others, the teapot never ever got to fulfill its fate,
No tea was ever poured to it which filled it with hate.
One day it happened it tried to replace the one above the flame,
As soon as it touched the heat, it cracked and cried with pain.
Having realized his mistake the buyer encountered the potter,
The potter accused both buyer and teapot for this whole disaster.
“If one was shallow in sense of depth, the other was in sense of thoughts,
Miseries of the teapot started when it denied the pain that would have strengthened it,
The buyer on the other hand looked only for the outside beauty and ignored his own wit”.......

Omnipresence

I was going through some posts in my face book timeline. I was surprised to see many had similar life conditions as mine. They were feeling the same, sharing the same and even commenting similar ideas. And suddenly I realised I wasn’t the only one in the world who was undergoing the same set of feelings. There were many souls connected to mine in ways quiet difficult for me to decipher but we did have a connection. For once in my life, I felt relaxed and comforted that I wasn’t the only one. See if it was a good thing I would have wanted it would have occurred to only me and me. But for bad ones, I felt kind of soothed that there were others too! And this realisation somehow put an ointment to my wounds and the lines I used to hear in Hindi echoed in my ears “Dukh baatne se ghat ta hai”. Then it struck me at once, was it God who was distributing my pain to the universe and lessening it somehow. And he was doing this for everybody. No wonder that is why the pain just goes away with time. In actual it isn’t time which heals it. We the people living in this universe just distribute it among ourselves without even being a tinge of conscious about this noble deed. We at the will of God, act as the healers of one another’s pain and sorrows. God and pain, both are omnipresent. And we people are the smallest unit of a “virtuous distribution cycle”. In addition, God has forbidden us to hold on to the pain for long and given us a way to lessen it out and heal ourselves by cycling it through this virtuous cycle.....

Turning Miseries into Inspiration

There is no life without miseries and problems. Many at times these miseries and problems, takes the shape of an Inspiration and thus become a source of success for many people. Artists look for inspiration, writers look for it. When I read romantic novels of Nicholas sparks, my heart is prepared to bear a death in the end and also I could easily get notion of a cancer patient. When reading Mitch Albom, I get a modern mix of spirituality. I see some beautiful heart touching movies that have a title running in their start as being based on real stories! These all things made to ponder that all the amazing creators may have undergone something excruciating or something miraculous which have lead them into creating something so extraordinary. May be Sparks lost someone he loved battling with cancer or Mitch Albom witnessed some godly miracles which he now tag under the genre fiction! It is true that these all are assumptions. But one thing is very clear to me, that every great achiever got a push somewhere in his life which moved him to do amazing things. And thus excellent writers, painters, artists and other people of high caliber underwent phases of transformation as a consequence of some miseries of their life.

The point is this inspirational push will eventually come to you. You cannot know when it is going to come but you’ll definitely know after it has transformed your life! You have no control over it to come early or leave early from your life. But what you can do for sure is that no matter with how much intensity this push tries to knock you over, you should never let go of the “pole of faith” you have been holding onto. No push can knock you over if you have strong determination and faith that you will pass through but if it waivers, you are susceptible to fail and lose yourself amid the havocs. Thus inspiration is the by product of faith and firm determination, brought together to stand still in the event of being pushed over. And this inspiration stays with you and evident in all the amazing things you do after you discover it.

Now can you answer, what inspires you? If you can answer think yourself as blessed and if not, don’t ever stop searching for it because there is no life without an inspirational push in it. And when it comes, you just need to mix the ingredients rightly and then you shall become the spot-lighted face of the endeavours that will inspire others to find their calling in life. Like ways the chain reaction is started where one who have found his calling because of those pushes, is present before the world to share and appreciate the power of the miseries he had faced in his life. It can lead to spreading the awareness to the people out in the world to stop grieving and start making fortune out of their miseries by taking them as inspiration and not as an event of self-destruction!

Going back to the Biological Clock

Long before the digital age, long before time tracking ‘Clocks” were invented; people did keep track of time. They relied on a natural god-gifted time keeper known as the biological clock. And I believe that this clock was way better way of keeping track of time as it taught the person to be self-disciplined. I believe that the answer to each of our problem generally comes from within. It is often said that an individual soul is self-sufficient in every way and why won’t it be, God has created us that way. And it is a true notion indeed. So, he must have provided us with a clock within, right! It is nowhere near to a mechanical one with two-three needles and fancy decorations but it is so much powerful and accurate than any of them put together.
A lot many of us struggle each day to crawl out of bed, snoozing alarm infinite times till we are confronted with guilt of sleeping for so long and beginning a day with guilt is never a right way to start your morning. Mornings are supposed to be full of energy, a day booster so that you can feel fresh and carry your work schedule. There is a way to deal with it without the need of any external medium. You just have to rely on yourself for that. There is a unique way in which you can reset your biological clock whenever you want. By consistency of thoughts, this is possible. I will give you a small example as a proof of my words (You can find similar example in a book “Power of your subconscious”). Each day when you go to bed repeat to yourself at least fifty times in mind at what time you want to rise up in the morning. Think of it as an input for your mind. The human mind does not work only on power but to execute tasks it relies on a “Belief system”. Your mind can never perform a task if you don’t believe you are capable of doing it. Repeating ensures that you establish belief on what you are saying. For ex- You need to be up at 7:00 am. The next day you will be up on the exact time without even putting alarms. No snoozing, no irritation just awaking on your own and still feeling fresh and with no desire to crawl back to the bed. And believe me It will never fail when you perform it with conviction. Thus, you can re – engineer your mind by inputting the right kind of “thoughts” and get amazing results.
